Gideon gathered as many men as he could to join him in fighting the

enemy. He was able to
gather 32 thousand men.

God saw that this number
is huge and unnecessary

and told Gideon you will
not need that soldiers. Since

God knows that the People
of Israel always give credit to their big number or their skills even though

God is the One that give them the victory over their enemies.
God asked Gideon to tell the 32 thousand men that followed him, that

whoever is scared and afraid
from fighting the Midianites, to

go back home…

Vico: I wonder how many me went

back home?

Pino: 22 thousand men went back
and only 10 thousand stayed with
Gideon. However, God still thinks that is a large

number of men!
Then God told Gideon The people are still too many;

bring them down to the water, and I will test them for you there. so the
men that will take the water and drink with their hands without sitting

on the ground, set them aside. And the men that will bend on their knees
