Pino: The Judge is a person chosen by God to deliver His people from
slavery (the same way He chose Gideon). Sometimes there were more
than one Judge at the same time.
Vico: Who is Gideon? And what is his story?
Pino: Gideon the Judge was the youngest in his family from the Tribe of
Manasseh. His name means “The Fighter.”
When the children of Israel went away from God and did bad things, they
were enslaved to the Midianites. The Midianites are strong and violent.
