Pino: I, usually draw while telling stories. Do you mind?

Vico: No problem, you may draw your story!

Pino: This is a story from the time of the Judges.

Pino started telling the story…

Pino: After leaving Egypt and Gideon the Judge
settling in the Promised Land, the Judges 6-7

children of Israel started to get

away from God and do evil things
such as worshipping idols. Guess what happened to them when they
got separated from God, their source of protection?

Vico: They will definitely, put themselves in such a deep trouble.

Pino: Exactly! Their enemy enslaved them to the point where they gave
them a very hard time until they repented and cried out to God. God

had mercy on them and sent them a judge to deliver them for their slav-
ery.

Once the enemy is gone, the people of Israel, would go back to their
wicked deeds again. This story kept on happening over and over again.

And every time, God delivers them from the hands of their enemy many
times. For 400 years, the people of Israel kept doing the same things.

This is the period of the Judges.

Vico: I wonder what’s a Judge?
