TRULY AMAZING GOLF

Where Serenity is Part of the Game

Picture winding green fairways set among spectacular red rock formations, ponderosa pines
nurturing the natural habitat of deer, fox, and many other Colorado wildlife. Imagine the pleasure of
a round of golf in a serene setting framed by the woodlands of Pike National Forest. Visualize this

true mountain golf experience in Larkspur Colorado, only a short drive from either Denver or
                                                      Colorado Springs.

The 6927-yard, par 72 course was designed by noted Colorado golf architect Dick Phelps. His
challenge, flawlessly executed, was to design 18 holes that fit among the natural wonders of the severe
rock upheavals of millennia past. And further, to create a course that would be a challenge to the low-

handicap player and a gratifying round for the weekend golfer.

The layout is designed for golfers of all skill levels, with eight separate tee positions allowing each
member to tailor the course to his or her greatest enjoyment. Though there are significant elevation
changes throughout the 18 holes, this is an eminently walkable course. Both private carts and walking
carts are allowed. The 6927-yard tournament tees play to a slope of 132 with a rating of 72.9. Middle
tees are 6626-yards with a slope of 126 and a rating of 72.1 for men. The gold tees are 5434 yards and

we have added a forward tee at 4816 yards for enjoyment of all skill levels including novice.

One round of golf will impress you with the care we take to
assure our course is maintained to the highest possible

standards. The club holds its own senior water rights dating
from 1881 and a new irrigation system assures that fairways
and roughs always meet tournament standards. Bunkers are

raked daily and greens are meticulously cut, rolled and
tended so your ball always rolls true. Attention to detail like
second cuts, walking paths and constant trimming assures
the course complements, yet never detracts from your game.
