Congratulations to Olivier Dahan’s biopic of Edith Piaf, photographed by Tetsuo Nagata AFC, which proved to be the biggest winner at the British Academy Film Awards on February 10, winning four – Leading Actress (Marion Cotillard), Music (Christopher Gunning), Make-Up & Hair (Jan Archibald, Didier Lavergne) and Costume Design (the late Marit Allen) and again, at the 80th Academy Awards, La Vie En Rose won two from three nominations, for Best Actress (Marion Cotillard) and Make-Up & Hair (Jan Archibald, Didier Lavergne).
