Film Festival is to be Wes Anderson’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s children’s classic
The Fantastic Mr Fox.
Anderson’s first animated film,
which he co-wrote with Noah Baumbach, uses classic handmade stop motion techniques and features the voices of George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Michael Gambon, Willem Dafoe, Owen Wilson, Jarvis Cocker and Helen McCrory.

announce that the 2010 short film competition will open for entries in autumn 2009.
A host of fantastic prizes are on offer for the winners of ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Cinematography’. Entry is free of charge and filmmakers can submit as many short films as they wish. All entries must be shot in their entirety on Fujifilm Motion Picture film stock; films must be less than 30 minutes long and completed after 1 January 2008.

It was shot at London’s Three Mills Studios. According to cine- matographer Tristan Oliver, an Aardman Animations veteran: “We shot Mr Fox on digital stills but I am outputting the digineg to Fujifilm at Technicolor. The Fujifilm 3513DI print stock is giving me a much richer look in the blacks and the overall contrast is better. I do try to come home to Fujifilm when I can.”
