Airing In October...
... And In November
BRITZ
D estined to be one of the year’s most controversial TV produc-
tions, Britz, writer-director Peter Kosminsky’s anatomy of a suicide bomber, will be aired
at the end of October, beginning of November as part of Channel Four’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.
Kosminsky’s latest, following award-winning films like The Government Inspector, The Project, Shoot To Kill and Warriors, co-stars Riz Ahmed and Majinder Virk as a second generation British Muslim brother-and-sister whose paths in young adulthood diverge dramatically.
Shot by David Higgs, his fourth collaboration with Kosminsky, the story, based in Bradford/Leeds and Pakistan, was shot, briefly, in the North of England before moving to extensive locations in London and Hyderabad, India. ■
