From September 2021 to August 2022, ADRA successfully carried out its mission

commitment to assist those in need through the BUREKA (Building Recovery for

Kasai) Project in the three health areas of Kamabonza, Tshibemba, and Mukuad-

janga, in the Kamonia and Kanzala Health Zones in Kasai Province. This was made

possible by the commitment of all committed staff, the support and generosity of

the American people, through USAID/BHA.

Over 63,000 people have benefited from project activities in agriculture, economic

recovery, food assistance, and WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene). We would

like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has helped ADRA’s ef-

forts. The Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo for its ongoing

support, the Ministries and State Divisions with which we collaborate, and the

health zones that have allowed us to work together; allowing ADRA to serve in this

country reflects the Congolese people’s commitment to their well-being.
