Preface
This book is a compilation of abstracts from Final Year Projects 2020/2021 from three bachelor
programs in engineering technology, namely, Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in
Mechanical (Automotive), Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Mechatronics
(Automotive), and Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Mechanical Design. It
presents the recent research and development in mechanical, mechatronics, and mechanical
design engineering across various areas as part of the research area in UniKL Malaysian
Spanish Institute (UniKL MSI).
With the latest knowledge in technology for manufacturing engineering, this book provides a
systematic and comprehensive reference on a topic that is a critical driver in smart
manufacturing development that can lead to educational benefits and improvements to the
