                Abstract This thesis is a project on designing a mounting bracket for an electric motor for a
                modified car. The car engine is replaced with the electric motor, thus needing a new mounting
                bracket design. In this project, students were given the task of designing two types of mounting
                brackets. One of the designs will be simulated and analyzed. Therefore, the design of the
                mounting bracket must be strong and lightweight to uphold the electric motor. In this study,
                different designs have been assessed to see deformation and displacement. This project deals
                with  design  and  usability.  Then,  pressure  and  deformation  of  mounting  brackets  can  be
                achieved with SolidWorks Simulation software. The design is created carefully and simulated
                statically and dynamically with correct measurement and dimension using SOLIDWORKS
                software.
