Baked Apple Donuts







                                                                                                                                   Ingredients                                            Instructions

                                                                                                                                   FOR DONUT                                              1.  Preheat oven to 400 f. grease 2 donut pans
                                                                                                                                                                                              with butter or baking spray and set aside
                                                                                                                                   2 cups All Purpose Flour, spooned and leveled

                                                                                                                                   ½ cup Granulated Sugar                                 2.  In  large  mixing  bowl,  whisk  flour,  sugar,
                                                                                                                                                                                              baking powder, baking soda, apple pie spice,
                                                                                                                                   2 tsp Baking Powder                                        and salt together until combined
                                                                                                                                   1 tsp Baking Soda                                      3.  In a different mixing bowl, whisk applesauce,

                                                                                                                                   1.5 tsp Apple Pie Spice                                    olive oil, milk, and vanilla until smooth and
                                                                                                                                                                                              combined
                                                                                                                                   1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
                                                                                                                                                                                          4.  Fold applesauce mixture into dry ingredients
                                                                                                                                   ½ tsp Ground Ginger                                        until just mixed and no streaks of flour
                                                                                                                                   ¼ tsp Ground cCoves                                        remain. Do not overmix

                                                                                                                                   ⅛ tsp Ground Nutmeg                                    5.  Place batter in a large piping bag and pipe
                                                                                                                                                                                              batter into donut pans. Fill almost to the top
                                                                                                                                   ½ tsp Ambrosia  Kosher Salt
                                                                                                                                                    ®
                                                                                                                                   ½ cup Ambrosia  Unsweetened Apple Sauce                6.  Bake until golden brown for 10-12 minutes.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Toothpick should be  inserted into center of
                                                                                                                                   ¼ cup Ambrosia  Extra Virgin Olive Oil                     the donut and come out clean
                                                                                                                                                     ®
                                                                                                                                   3/4 cup Milk                                           7.  Remove from the oven and cool in the pan for

                                                                                                                                   1 tbsp Ambrosia  Pure Vanilla Extract                      10 minutes. Transfer to a baking rack to cook.

                                                                                                                                   FOR TOPPING                                            8.  When cool enough to handle (15 minutes), add
                                                                                                                                                                                              melted butter and cinnamon sugar mixture
                                                                                                                                   4 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted and slightly                to 2 small shallow bowls.
                                                                                                                                   cooled

                                                                                                                                   ½ cup Granulated Sugar                                 9.  Dip each donut in melted butter followed by
                                                                                                                                                                                              sugar topping until well coated.
                                                                                                                                   ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon









                                                                                                                                       Apples
                                                                                                                                       One bushel of apples will make between 20-24 quarts of applesauce.
