aydee has only been with Wawa for a short time but
adopted The Wawa Way and our Six Core Values from day one. She was recently promoted to LCSA and
has been working overnights for the last few months. One morning, a young man with disabilities was stuck at our store with no ride home. This young man did not speak English and only had a business card with a telephone number on it. Haydee is bi-lingual and was able to get in contact with the young man’s mother to figure out where they lived. The mother was worried and asked where the nearest bus stop was for him to be able to get on. Haydee communicated to the woman that she lived close by and would be able to take her son home. While Haydee was on the phone, we provided the young man with a hot coffee as he was walking for a while before getting to the store and could see he was cold. Haydee has been an asset to the team since she has joined the Flock and has enormous potential to grow within Wawa. Haydee’s good deed truly represents Wawa’s Values and what it means to Value People.
