en was assisting customers at the register when he
noticed a customer watching him. He greeted him politely and the customer asked Ben if he could help him with something personal. The customer was very shy and almost felt embarrassed, but he explained to Ben that he could neither read nor write, and asked Ben if he could write a birthday message in a card to his son. Ben happily accepted and made the customer feel special. He continued to write what the customer wanted the card to say. The customer was so delighted and thanked Ben for the help. Ben treated the customer with respect and made him feel welcome in our store. Associates should always be willing to help anyone who walks through our doors, and Ben was a perfect example of how to Delight a Customer who needed help with something out of the ordinary. Thank you, Ben, from your management team, and from all the customers you have impacted!
