Fundraising Activity
In 2020, the Association did not carry out any fundraising event due to the COVID-19 pandemic
restrictions. Therefore, most of our projects and activities were either cancelled or postponed till
the pandemic situation eases.
In 2021, Mr John Ting Kang Chung, Chairman of NYAA Council, will chair the Fundraising
Committee and spearhead fundraising activities. Given the covid-19 pandemic situation, there are
many uncertainties and restriction for mass fundraising events. Therefore, the Committee
proposed to approach corporate, foundation and well-wishers for donations to support the NYAA.
The fundraising Committee target to raise $300,000 in the year 2021.
