The NYAA has always championed the empowerment
of those who are physically challenged. This is done
through three separate but interrelated actions.
First, the NYAA programmes are designed to be
inclusive. They make provision for active participation
by youths with physical handicaps or disabilities.
Second, through seminars, the youths are socialised
on the facts about physical handicaps and disabilities.
Third, collaborative activities have increased the scope
for mutual respect, comfort and trust. This is the basis
for true inclusiveness and cohesion.
