Hawker centres play an important role in Singapore.
In hawker centres, there are varieties of cuisines and
cultural foods to choose from. This allows people to
try other cuisines and enjoy them, making people get
closer and mingle. This is how people get closer to food.
Hawker centres give us rich and flavourful traditional
foods.
I always wonder how hawkers can make the food so
tasty and savoury. They took many years to reach this
proficiency. I admire all the varieties of food given in
Hawker centres, but my favourite is the salmon and
teriyaki bento set from the japanese and korean cuisine
stall. The name of the stall is JAPPY EXPRESS.
I was craving japanese hawker food. I told my mother,
and she agreed immediately to bring me out to eat.
Soon, we both arrived at the Koufu Food Court. When I I was flabbergasted by how good the food tasted. I
entered the food court, the rich aroma of all the cuisines bought homemade lemon tea to wash down the food a
came breezing at me. It was like I was in dreamland! My few minutes later and returned home.
Mother and I went to the Japanese stall. I ordered my
favourite dish, salmon and teriyaki chicken bento.

a type of fish. Salmon is also a type of fish. The salmon Logeswaran Ramamoorthy
was very juicy. The health benefit of the dish I had P6.3
ordered was the salmon itself. The sauce on the salmon North Spring Primary School
was the item that gave the salmon its flavourful taste.
