     My Wonderful Hawker Centre Experience
One of my favourite hawker centres in Singapore is the
Bedok Town Hawker Centre, which is near Bedok Mall.
Maybe if you live near Bedok Mall, you can visit this
            hawker centre!
Let me share why I love this hawker centre. First, the
space is big and open, and sometimes it can be easy
for you to find a seat. Secondly, there is a wide variety
of food. There are chinese, malay, indian, and even
vegetarian food from other countries. Lastly, the food is
affordable and delicious, making good food accessible to
            everyone.
Did you know that chicken rice is also very delicious
when vegetarian? Instead of using chicken, mock meat,
or a meat-like tofu. Hawker centres sell vegetarian food
because not all people are non-vegetarian. I suggest
that hawker centres sell more vegetarian food; it is very “Hawker centres aren’t just for eating —
            delicious!
                                                                   they’re where everyone, even vegetarians
Hawker centres are more than food courts — they are like me, can taste the joy, culture, and unity
cultural icons that bring people together. With their of Singapore.”
affordable, diverse dishes and welcoming atmosphere,
they preserve tradition while uniting communities Lim Hui Qun Tiffany
through a shared love of food, through the heritage and P5 Care
roots of hawker centres. Red Swastika School
So next time, if you walk past a hawker centre, remember
to try the unique dishes and local food of Singapore.
