Joining the Solar-Powered Smart E-Waste Machine project midway through its development was an incredible
experience. Initially, I felt like I had to catch up on the progress made by my teammates before I could contribute
meaningfully. However, with guidance from our teachers and mentors at METech Recycling, I quickly gained a deep
understanding of the project's goals and objectives. As I delved into the details of the project, I was struck by the
complexity that had gone into designing the Solar-Powered Smart E-Waste Machine.
One highlight of my experience was meeting Dr. Amy Khor during the MOU signing ceremony between ITE and
METech Recycling. It was an honor to shake hands with such a prominent figure in Singapore's sustainability
landscape, and I felt proud to be part of a project that aligns with her vision for a more sustainable future.
Throughout the project, I had the opportunity to work closely with my teammates from different backgrounds and
disciplines. This experience taught me valuable lessons about collaboration, communication, and problem-solving

ITE College West in disguise. It allowed me to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the table, which ultimately contributed to the
success of the Solar-Powered Smart E-Waste Machine. Overall, my experience on this project has been incredibly
enriching, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such a talented and dedicated team.
