COMPANY PROFILE
Miller Engineering and Testing, Inc. is a long-established engineering and testing firm offering
geotechnical, environmental, construction monitoring/testing, and subsurface exploration services throughout
New England. The firm has experienced considerable growth since being founded in 1976. With over 40 years of
providing services to the public and private sectors, Miller Engineering & Testing, Inc. has developed a substantial
client base. Our clients have come to depend upon us for timely responses and creative solutions to their
engineering and testing needs.
SUPPORT STAFF & EQUIPMENT

Our staff are supported by a fully equipped geotechnical and materials testing laboratory and in-house
subsurface exploration equipment. We have total control of test procedures and scheduling of these services
allowing us to meet project deadlines with confidence in the test data. Miller Engineering & Testing, Inc. laboratory
facilities and personnel are inspected frequently by the Army Corps of Engineers and Cement and Concrete

Reference Laboratory for compliance with American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) test procedures. Also,
members of our support staff have been certified in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR1910.120 (HAZWOPER)
hazardous waste training.
QUALITY CONTROL
In addition to onsite inspections by independent agencies, Miller Engineering & Testing Inc. participates in the
proficiency sample testing programs administered by the American Association of State Highway and
Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL). Miller
Engineering & Testing, Inc. has achieved high ratings for consistency and precision in our test procedures and
results. Our laboratory is certified by AASHTO to perform a variety of soil and aggregate testing.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
The principals and engineers at Miller Engineering & Testing, Inc. have Professional Engineering and Geologist
Licenses in the New England states (and beyond). In addition, our environmental staff has hazardous materials
training and certification in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER).
