Connie hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia and is the
creator and founder of RSTUDIOS in Halifax and
Dartmouth. R Studios is an avant-garde brand of
fitness studios with three unique concept locations,
RIO, ROGUE and REBEL specializing in pilates,
yoga, boxing, circuit training and more. Connie has
done over 1000 hours of yoga, pilates and fitness
trainings across North America and also has a
background in Marketing and Public Relations.
Though her passion in movement began at the early
age of 2 and began training as a competitive
gymnast by the age of 5, her later years found her
passion in people, public relations and the world of
business. Her passion for community is the driver of
the studios creating a unique brand that has
experienced exponential growth in its first 5 years

Connie has been an ambassador for Canadian
R STUDIOS FITNESS athletic brand, lululemon athletica, as well as
several other local companies and was selected as a
Canadian delegate for the G20 Entrepreneurial

Shawn is the current CEO of MacDonald
Automotive Group, which consists of Fair Isle Ford
(Charlottetown and Montague), D. Alex MacDonald
(Summerside) and Summerside Hyundai. Shawn is
also co-owner of Kreative Acres Corp. and Kreative
Rentals Corp., a full-service construction company
and real estate investment company.
In operation for over 30 years, MacDonald
Automotive Group owns and operates four car
dealerships in Charlottetown, Summerside and
Montague and employees over 130 staff members
who all focus on the customer’s experience.
Shawn is a graduate of UPEI and obtained his CPA
designation and CF designation through the Atlantic
School of Chartered Accountancy. Over the course
