• September 1997 - SC performs for the ground-breaking ceremony of the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, Harrisburg, PA
• 11/23/97 - SC performs the world premiere of commissioned piece Look to This Day, C. Thomas Schwalm
• 12/6-7/97 - SC performs Handel’s Messiah under the direction of HSO’s conductor, Richard Westerfield
• 12/19/97 - SC performs the world premiere of commissioned piece by Fred Thayer, Mirabile Mysterium
• 1998 - SC releases its second CD, Heritage
 1998 – 1999 Season • October 1998 - SC launches website
• 10/18/98 - The SC family of choirs celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Educational
Outreach Program with Alice Parker workshop and “sing”
• 3/20-21/99 - SC performs Haydn’s The Creation, under the direction of HSO’s conductor, Richard Westerfield
 1999 – 2000 Season • 1999 - SC is named Resident Chamber Choir, one of ten resident companies at the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts
• 2/12/00 - SC performs the first Love Is in the Ayre Valentine’s Day Concert at Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, featuring the Eaken Trio
• 2/18/00 - Performance at ACDA Eastern Division Convention, Baltimore, MD
 2000 – 2001 Season
• 11/19/00 - SC performs the world premiere of commissioned piece by C. Thomas Schwalm, When in Our Music God Is Glorified
• 3/17-18/01 - SC and SCC perform Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana under the direction of HSO’s new conductor, Stuart Malina
• 5/4/01 - SC celebrates its 20th Anniversary with commission and east coast premiere of Sir Richard Rodney Bennett’s The Glory and the Dream
 2001 – 2002 Season • 10/12/01 - SC sings for Lebanon County Community Concert Association
• 5/3,4 & 6/02 - SC commissions and performs the world premiere of C. Thomas Schwalm’s A Litany of Reconciliation
