 SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES
Peter Gregory
Peter is a safety, health and environmental (SH&E) professional with over 22 years of overall experience in SH&E compliance including: managing risks; conducting comprehensive site inspections; developing new procedures and improving upon existing ones; delivering both regulatory and culture building trainings; tracking both leading and lagging safety metric indicators; communicating with all levels of personnel and clientele; and managing incident investigation and reporting. In 2016, he was awarded with a “40 under 40” Rising Star of Safety by the National Safety Council. Peter also was selected to present a plenary training session titled “SH&E Training that Builds Safety Culture” at the American Society of Safety Engineers – Safety 2017 Professional Development Conference.
In addition to his current position with AECOM, Peter’s work experience includes: superintendent of operational safety, Hudson Bergen Light Rail Transit System Operations and Maintenance, OSHA VPP; URS Corporation, environmental health & safety manager; Ecolsciences, Inc., safety, health and environmental site manager, NY Metro Area; and Bristol-Myers Squibb, Research and Development Laboratories, environmental health and safety specialist. He holds numerous certifications including Certified Safety Professional, Safety Trained Supervisor, OSHA 30-Hour Construction, OSHA 10-Hour Construction, OSHA HAZWOPER, OSHA Site Supervisor, and AHA First Aid-CPR-AED Trainer.
Peter earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Boston College.
Mo Harmon
Mo joined Bentley Systems in 2014. In his current role as the director of industry strategy for the civil design group, he tracks industry trends and works closely with Bentley users to provide strategic input into the development of Bentley applications. Previously, he was Bentley’s solution executive for roads and bridges. Mo worked in the consulting industry for 26 years before joining Bentley and spent the first eight years of his career in transportation design before moving into a firm-wide role managing training, support, and R&D activities associated with core design and production technologies at HNTB. He earned an engineering degree from Louisiana State University.
Brad Heigel, PE
Bradley is a graduate of Penn State University. His career at the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has spanned 30 years of which the last 10 years he has served as their chief engineer. His duties include the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Design and Construction and the Facility Operations units. Brad is responsible for the delivery of the 10-Year $7 billion Capital Plan and the Independently Funded Program. A former Central PA Engineer of the Year, Brad remains active in the Harrisburg ASHE section.
