Michael Kenawell
Michael is an environmental manager with JMT with over 20 years of experience in the consulting industry, with emphasis on natural resource investigations, wetland ecology, threatened and endangered species investigations, and permit coordination. He currently serves as the vice chair of the ACEC/PA Environmental Committee.
Tony Machi, CPA, MBA, CDA
As a manager in Stambaugh Ness’s Government Contract Services practice area, Tony knows AE deeply, having long served at senior levels within
the governmental and financial compliance function of one of the largest engineering firms in the U.S. He has become nationally recognized as a foremost expert on Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) strategy and compliance and firm profitability by peers in the ACEC/AASHTO audit community.
Tom Macchione, PE
Tom received his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania. He has worked for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission in the Traffic Engineering and Operations Department for 18 years and is currently the manager of Traffic Engineering for the commission. He is currently the chair of the Turnpike Commission’s Work Zone Safety Subcommittee. He is also a member on the Temporary Traffic Control Technical Committee of the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTCD). Tom was instrumental in helping implement the recessed durable pavement marking program at the Turnpike Commission and was also heavily involved in the 70 MPH speed limit conversion and the implementation of the Automated Work Zone Speed Enforcement (AWZSE) program on the Turnpike.
Erin McLaughlin
Erin is the vice president of Private Market Resources for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) in Washington, D.C. She leads ACEC’s efforts in analyzing market and economic trends and implementing programs and publications that address the needs of ACEC member firms serving private clients. Erin has more than 20 years of experience in the architecture/ engineering (A/E), planning and commercial real estate industries. Prior to joining ACEC in 2017, Erin held various positions with Engineering News- Record Top 50 firm Dewberry, including as director of business development in the Mid-Atlantic region for six years. She was also the National Federal Market leader at global A/E firm HOK. Erin is a past president of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Northern Virginia Chapter and has also served on the board of Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), DC Chapter.
