HB2611 An Act amending the act of April 17, 2016 (P.L.84, No.16), known as the Medical Marijuana
Act, in practitioners, further providing for practitioner registration.

Summary (PN 3699) Amends the Medical Marijuana Act, in practitioners, further providing for practitioner
registration to outline the conditions the department may place on a physician for inclusion in the
registry and to prohibit the department from including a physician in the registry who has been
convicted of a felony under the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act, or under
a similar law in any other jurisdiction, in the previous five years from the date of the application
submitted by the physician. Effective in 60 days.
