CHAPTER BL BYLAWS — 2020-2021
ARTICLE I – MEETINGS
Sec. 1. The number of chapter meetings shall be fifteen each year.
The regular business meetings of Chapter BL shall be held on the
second Sunday of each month unless a holiday falls on that
Sunday, in which case the meeting shall be held on the third
Sunday of that month.The social period shall begin at 2 p.m. and
the program from 2:15-2:45 p.m., followed by the business
meeting at 2:45 p.m. The regular social meetings of Chapter BL
shall be determined by the chapter and specified in the yearbook.
ARTICLE II – DUES
Sec. 1. The annual dues for resident and non-resident shall be
forty-nine dollars ($49.00) payable in February. The $49 includes
International Chapter dues of twenty-six dollars ($26.00), six
dollars ($6.00) of which is designated for Cottey College; state
chapter dues of thirteen dollars ($13.00); and local chapter dues of
ten dollars ($10.00).
Sec. 2. The annual dues of the chapter to the Northwest Louisiana
Reciprocity Group shall be ten dollars ($10.00) payable by
September 15.

ARTICLE III — COMMITTEES
Sec. 1. This chapter shall have the following standing committees,
appointed by the president at a regular business meeting in March:
Projects, Program & Yearbook, Entertainment, Bylaws, Tele-
phone/Technology, Auditing Budget & Finance, Reciprocity,
Membership, Courtesy, Historian/Record Reporter, Ways & Means.
