There is a long way to go and a lot of games still to be played. Everyone will drop
In The Dug-Out points at some point. The teams above are there for a reason and rightly so. They

are good teams we haven’t been good enough against these sides and that’s why we
are where we are, but we are improving all the time.
                                                                                                                  Firing on all cylinders
What’s happening in the RPV com- The good news is that Nes Bellikli is a couple of weeks away from returning, we
mand-centre? How are Vale going to hope and Timmy Obisanya is back next week so we are looking forward to firing on
take on the CCL? Don’t wait to hear all cylinders as Spring gets underway!
gossip in the bar - we go straight to Today’s game versus Fleet Town will be a tough game. We played well up against
the top, for all the insights from evil them in our away fixture despite going down to ten men in the first half but per-
      twin, ex-tracksuit model and Raynes
      Park Vale gaffer, Josh Gallagher!

We’ve carried on our good form recently
with some good wins in some really tough
games. Our last few games have been on
the three worst pitches in the league (here
at Raynes Park, Colliers Wood and AFC
      Croydon). These pitches don’t respond
well to our style of play, but we’ve adjust-
ed to it really well, which has been pleas-
ing. It hasn’t always been the prettiest at
times, but we’ve got the job done.
                 A tough challenge
Away to AFC Croydon was an emotionally, physically and mentally difficult game.
With what happened before in our home fixture, it was always going to be a tough
challenge with the potential for hot-headed tempers to appear. However the game
was a really disciplined performance from both teams which was good to see. We
managed our game and the situation really well and are really pleased with the
three points. We had probably the worst ref for a game like that but, luckily, both Neşet Can Bellikli back in the squad after injury
teams managed themselves well. The focus of the game was to stay disciplined, play
with our patterns. However we needed to know that the pitch wouldn’t allow us to formed brilliantly to win the game. The difference with this game is that they know
play all the time so we had to be prepared to go longer when we could. We didnt what they are up against so this will make it difficult. We will be well prepared for
play with the quality that we are capable of but we got the job done and sometimes them as well. Fleet have picked up some good results recently as well so we are
that’s what it takes. The league is looking tasty. We are just taking it a game at a expecting a good game. They have a very lively striker who can be a handful if we
time. We aren’t getting ahead of ourselves. We aren’t in a position to be thinking of don’t apply ourselves to the game properly. They are a very hard working team and
‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ as we are still off the top three, but if we take it a game at a time, stay don’t give you things easily. It should be an enjoyable match.
focused and stay disciplined we can maybe creep into the pack. Josh Gallagher
