      There is a long way to go and a lot of games still to be played. Everyone will drop
 In The Dug-Out  points at some point. The teams above are there for a reason and rightly so. They

      are good teams we haven’t been good enough against these sides and that’s why we
      are where we are, but we are improving all the time.

 We’ve carried on our good form recently
 with some good wins in some really tough
 games. Our last few games have been on
 the three worst pitches in the league (here
 at Raynes Park, Colliers Wood and AFC
 Croydon). These pitches don’t respond
 well to our style of play, but we’ve adjust-
 ed to it really well, which has been pleas-
 ing. It hasn’t always been the prettiest at
 times, but we’ve got the job done.
            A tough challenge
 Away to AFC Croydon was an emotionally, physically and mentally difficult game.
 With what happened before in our home fixture, it was always going to be a tough
 challenge with the potential for hot-headed tempers to appear. However the game
 was a really disciplined performance from both teams which was good to see. We
 managed our game and the situation really well and are really pleased with the
 three points. We had probably the worst ref for a game like that but, luckily, both   Neşet Can Bellikli back in the squad after injury
 teams managed themselves well. The focus of the game was to stay disciplined, play
 with our patterns. However we needed to know that the pitch wouldn’t allow us to   formed brilliantly to win the game. The difference with this game is that they know
 play all the time so we had to be prepared to go longer when we could. We didnt   what they are up against so this will make it difficult. We will be well prepared for
 play with the quality that we are capable of but we got the job done and sometimes   them as well. Fleet have picked up some good results recently as well so we are
 that’s what it takes. The league is looking tasty. We are just taking it a game at a   expecting a good game. They have a very lively striker who can be a handful if we
 time. We aren’t getting ahead of ourselves. We aren’t in a position to be thinking of   don’t apply ourselves to the game properly. They are a very hard working team and
