Even though Catholic Schools Week was shortened due to the snow, our school
community worked together on several projects. The bible verse door decorating
contest was very creative incorporating all students in some form. Our annual can
sculpture contest was very successful, collecting 3,618 cans of food for the parish
food pantry. The judges were volunteers from the food pantry who were quite
impressed with the imagination and construction of the sculptures. We thank them
for their assistance in judging and thank you the parents/guardians for the donation of
food. The remainder of CSW revolved around many STEM activities. Engaging the students thought
process to create structures or machines to solve a variety of problems. Pajama day was very
comfortable and definitely colorful with the variety of plaids and designs.
