Hello SJGS Families!
When Punxsutawney Phil predicted more cold and bitter
weather ahead, I thought (hoped?) he was teasing, but the chill that
morning told me he probably wasn’t laughing. Three day’s worth of
snowman building, hot chocolate and marshmallows, and a “late
Christmas gift from Santa!” (Or our administration - Thank you!) of
enough snow to make it all happen made the prediction more
bearable. Inevitably, though, Frosty will melt and the beginnings of
fresh, green growth will start to appear and, before you know it, spring
will arrive.

We want to contribute toward that renewal and hope it is reflected in the fundraisers we’re
bringing to you in the next coming months. The PTA is hosting a Spring Seed Sale during the entire
month of March. Look for the flyer and seed catalog in your child’s folder at the end of February.
Orders may be placed online until March 31st and will be shipped straight to your home.

There is a new design for School Spirit Wear available in the online shop
(https://stores.farrostees.com/st_joseph_pta) that celebrates all that makes SJGS great! The new
design appears on the back of the
shirt or sweatshirt, with our SJGS
emblem on the front. Free pick up is
available from Farro’s tees on Fischer
Blvd., or you may choose to have your
Spirit wear shipped directly to you.

Keep scanning those Box Tops
for Education! Remember to select
the “credit” button (after your first
receipt picture) and type in your
teacher’s name! The classroom that
scans the most Box Tops before the
end of the marking period will earn a
pass for a dress-down day! Please
