Membership

In 1884 when the SDC was formed by a group of dyers in Bradford it would have been impossible to
imagine that over 130 years later the demographics of membership would be so diverse. From artists to
patent attorneys and from Japan to Canada, SDC members unite in the opportunity to network, share
knowledge, and benefit from being part of a leading educational charity dedicated to colour.

With members in 50 countries and regions in the
UK, Hong Kong, Pakistan and SDC EC India,
our members include:
