With reference to RW Bro Mick Turner’s application for the position of Deputy Grand Master, I am very comfortable with providing an endorsement of Mick’s abilities and suitability for this role.
I have had a great amount of dealings with Mick not only in his role as Divisional GM but prior to that when he was District GM also. He has proven to be dedicated to the positions he has had and currently occupies, many times confronting diffficult issues in fulfilling his role. Where necessary he has resolved these issues with a strong sense of leadership but with an awareness of the situations involving a voluntary organistation.
I am aware that he has gained respect throughout his Division and indeed well beyond that in the Craft. He has been willing to travel long distances to meet with Brethren throughout the Division, sometimes resolving issues at short notice, demonstrating his commitment over a long period of time.
I believe he has amply demonstrated the qualities suitable for the position he is now applying for in the Craft.
