RESPONSIBILITIES
GT LOCAL:
Staff management:
• Ensuring timesheets are completed
• Signing up new staff with the assistance of admin
• Employment reviews and interviews, pay rises and goals for staff.
• Employment discussions.
Operation/Production:
• Running projects on the ground. Workflow management with admin
• Ensuring you have enough staff to keep up with project timelines.
• Ordering materials for projects.
• Interacting with project managers.
• Developing and training staff. Building “ideal teams”
• QA checks. Get staff doing self QAs and conducting pair QAs. Spend enough time on each site to ensure highest level of workmanship is being achived.
• Completing defects
• Site reports
• Compliance and final signoff of all projects
H&S:
• Capturing information and work with company H&S officer to write SSSP and TAs
• Ensuring projects are completed in a safe manner always.
• Running toolbox meetings
• Investigate incidents with H&S officer
• Ensure all staff are following your procedure
Tendering/quoting:
• Reviewing and due diligence on all tenders that are in your area. The local owner must be comfortable with thew value before submitting tender.
• Capturing information for variations to large contracts to work with the company QS to submit price variations. Small jobs can be quoted locally or with assistance form the admin.
