Year 4:

Y4EAR
Year 4 will see some of your first apprentices coming out of their time. Some will be egar to starch their legs, try something new. We have sys- tems in place to encourage them to stick with you for a few years at least. We will be continuing to grow incentives for everyone to retain the staff you want.
You will find yourself in your vehicle more and more now, juggling a few considerable jobs or getting your teeth into a sizable project with new challenges. Fire fighting will become an occurrence. If you spend a good amount of time on the ground with your team you will see issues coming and put the fire out while it is small and hasn’t grown into a full-on Aus- tralian bush fire.
I recommend you keep your hands dirty, all be it selectively. The little ones will respond better to your encouragement being productive when they witness your work ethic.
One large project, +$600K, a couple of medium, $200K, several small.
