Color Palette

**All color samples shown are not a true representation of the actual color. DO
NOT match to these samples, as you could end up with the wrong color.
Reston Association will not reimburse for color matching errors. You must go
to the paint store that sells the manufacturer’s paint and obtain the specified
color **

Siding

• Three different siding colors in block-by-block pattern; homeowner may not change siding
color. The original palette is discontinued, and owners may not use those colors; they must
choose from the more recent palette dated 1990.
• Owners may elect to replace siding with overlapped, primed Hardiplank cement lap siding in
Select Cedarrnill pattern with horizontal orientation and a 7 inch exposure (repeat). A 5/4 x
4 inch vertical Hardiplank board is to be placed between housed where all Hardiplank siding
meets original wood siding. All Hardiplank must be painted to match existing house color,
according to DRB-approved color palette for Orchard Green Cluster using Olympic
premium exterior latex flat paint, with the stipulations that all house siding must be replaced
with the same material and the paint color must match the approved house color.
