About
The Circulo del Licea is a private club founded in
1847 in the heart of Barcelona, which has built its
foundations on a shared loved of art and its unique
hnk to the city's own cultural identity.
Located on Barcelona's Rambla, it shares a
building with the Gran Teatre del Liceu and music is
one of the central axes of its cultural activity.
Its exquisite furnishings and artistic heritage
constitute a veritable modernist museum, with the
collection of paintings by Ramon Casas a particular
highlight in the R otonda room.
The Circulo offers Members and visitors a meeting
place with a constant programming calendar
comprising music, plastic arts, hterature and other
cultural events which contribute to the city's cultural
dynamism.
Its dining programme changes daily, with a set
Member menu complemented by platos del dia a
daily special inspired by seasonal ingredients and the
Executive Chef's creativity. The Circulo's Opera Nights
menu, which runs concurrent to the schedule of the
Gran Teatre, is a significant dining highlight. The Club
also offers a series of recommended monthly wines.
The Circulo's staff and management look forward
to welcoming Members from its new Canadian
reciprocal partner.

Dress Code
Gentlemen: Jacket and Tie required, though no Tie

summer heat.
Ladies: Formal, elegant attire.
