The YORI<. Club Magazine Winter 2024 Edition
From the General Manager's Desk
Cy ril Duport, Secretary-General J\1anager
Dear Members,
As we embark on an important year for the Club, we want to
thank you for the overwhelming support of the Renovation
Project; work continues, and we have submitted three permits to
the city - two of which have been approved, while the third is
in final revie'vv.
Once we have a confirmed date for the beginning of
construction, we will communicate accordingly and well in
advance to the membership. The Club is running at
business-as-usual speed for the next few m onths, and many
private rooms will remain open throughout the renovation; we
encourage Members to continue enquiring with Merlin K aasik
and Christine Liu should they want to reserve a small private
event.
I want to take this opportunity to thank our staff for their
exceptional effort through the hohday season, navigating a
very busy private event calendar and the standard D ecember
club events.
Under the leadership of Mr. Mindham, our House Committee
has planned a robust event schedule - the next three months of
which are outlined in this magazine.
We appreciate your continued support, wish tl1e entire
membership all the very best for 2024 and I personally hope to
welcome you back to the Club soon.
