CV: There is also talk of a new speaker format set to debut in the fall. Can you provide any hints or details on that?
M:M: Working with the Committee, Monsieur D uport and I have come up with a new speaker series format,
involving a shorter, earlier cocktail session followed by a speaker in the Verandah. Then, attendees will be able to book
for dinner afte1ward should they wish. It's similar to the Mighty Martini concept, where it will draw people in and they
will then have the option to stay for dinner, without being as physically demanding as a long speaker dinner.
On the topic of Mighty Martini, as well, you don't have to have a martini- the bar is open! It's an opportunity to
mingle with the community, a social opportunity and chance to get together. And it returns this Spring!
CV: What have been a few of the personal highlights for you during your time involved with the House Committee,
and where would you like to see the Club's programming trend in a few years' time?
M:M: The Coronation Dinner was a terrific way to honour a momentous occasion, well-attended and fun.

Excitement is building around the upcoming H ard Hat Party in February, with oysters, Champagne, the live music.
Ultimately, we want to make the Club accessible to all its Members. We want everybody to come and enjoy their
social lives here, whether it be single Members, older, younger, widowed. This is a safe, wonder.fol place.
Lastly, I want to thank the amazing people on my House Committee who have helped us toward that goal.
