 Specify hazards relating to the high-risk construction work and the risks

Worksites will often use site or industry -specific language, terms and terminology. If at
any time you do not understand what a person is talking about or referring to, you
should ask them to explain it. This will help to avoid any unwanted outcomes. The
               purpose of a SWMS is:

 To outline a safe method of work for a specific job

 To provide an induction document that workers must read and understand

                          before starting the job
 To assist in meeting legal responsibilities for the risk management process,

hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control

 To assist in effectively coordinating the work, the materials required, the time
required and the people involved to achieve a safe and efficient outcome

 To provide a quality assurance tool

The emergency procedures for falls should be incorporated into the emergency plan
required for the workplace under the WHS Regulation. Table lists a number of
considerations when establishing emergency procedures for falls.
