2019 ended with the addition of 2 new cham- Our other new champion also has a long way to
pions. We were delighted that the black male, come to shows. The bitch puppy which did so
Bojinghai Zeus, has achieved his 3rd (& qualify- well at Crufts last year, Olive Taylor’s “Sky”, has
ing) Challenge Certificate. He is a very new dog been very busy at the year’s shows and has now
on the circuit. His owners. Mr. & Mrs. Stewart, achieved a very long official name. Sky is now

about dog showing & had never been to a show she has a mixture of shows . Southern Ireland
before. They heard about a “chow walk” near to dog shows are under the FCI rules, which ac-
them & took him along. On the walk they heard counts for the Junior champion title which

their surprise & delight he was placed Best in Sky, except maybe she is the most affectionate

land means travelling to shows is nearly always
a long distance, but Zeus seems to thrive on it.
Dignified in the show ring, he is completely dif-
ferent at home, where he chases squirrels, plays
with their other chow & enjoys annoying the 3
yorkies! He seems to live up to his royal name
of “Zeus” in the ring, but at home he knows he’s
called “Bubba” & that’s his fun time. He is the
Stewart’s pride & joy and the family pet and he
is also a new & valuable addition in the ring.
