CIMAR™ ultra-flat screeder allows the operator to place low slump concrete and provide a true and
accurate concrete surface (superflat). The screeder can be crowned either parabolic, roof-top, or
inverted by simple adjustment in the top pipe coupler and can be run on either pipe forms, wood
forms, steel forms on existing concrete slabs. Travel down the slab is provided by means of hand
winches at each end of the machine.
For ultra-flat screeder powered by pneumatic system, an air compressor is required for operating the
air vibrators. The CIMAR™ ultra-flat screeder comes with handles, winches, air filter, air lubricator
and pressure gauge. On outside slabs and street pavements a burlap drag can be attached to the ultra-
flat screeder and all finishing except edging are eliminated. High cycle vibration per minute of
vibrating pistons cause the screeder to vibrate in high frequency), thus, increases the concrete density
by allowing the trapped water to break out of the concrete slab quicker. CIMAR™ ultra-flat screeder
is equipped with accessories for easy machine operation such as to increase the length by adding
another truss section. Optional feature such as adjustable end brackets can be incorporated into the
screeder to allow it to work on depress ground.
For ultra-flat screeder powered by using engine system is similar with air system accept the vibration
of the truss blades are generate by the rotation of the drive shaft along the truss blades.
Operator has a choice of lengths of the screeder from 3m to 21m depending on the volume of working
area.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Why the floor finishing is not flat after screeding?
- Check the ultra-flat screeder straightness. Repeat procedure 3.3 stated above..
2. Why the screeder cannot function although there is constant air supply running?
(For pneumatic powered screeder)
- Check mist lubricator, air filter, air regulator and all air pipes are not leaking or choked.
3. Why the engine cannot start? (For engine powered screeder)
- Check engine oil, ON/OFF switch, choke, spark plug/cap and fuel oil. Send to supplier service centre
if necessary.
4. Why the drive shaft cannot rotate or function? (For engine powered screeder)
- Check belting and bearing condition, change them if necessary.
