3. Specific Safety Rules and Precautions
3.1) Specific Safety Rules:
Your warranty is voided if: You modify the hydraulic power pack.
Maintain labels and nameplates on the hydraulic power pack. These carry
important information. If unreadable or missing, contact seller for a replacement.
Make sure the hydraulic power pack is used on a flat, level, surface to
maintain stability of the tool. Do not use the hydraulic power pack on inclines.
Never stand on the hydraulic power pack. Serious injury could result if the
hydraulic power pack is tipped.
Never leave the hydraulic power pack unattended when it is running. Always
turn off the hydraulic power pack before leaving.
Do not allow children and other unauthorized people to handle or play with the
hydraulic power pack.
Industrial applications must follow OSHA guidelines.
Prior to using the hydraulic power pack, make sure to clear away large rocks,
sticks, and other foreign materials off the ground surface to avoid damage to the
hydraulic power pack and/or personal injury.
Do not modify the hydraulic power pack. This tool will do the work better and
safer at the speed and capacity for which it was designed.
3.2) Fire and Explosion Precautions
Keep the hydraulic power pack and surrounding areas clean at all times.
Never store fuel or other flammable materials near the hydraulic power pack
connected to a live power source.
3.3) Mechanical Precautions
Prior to performing service, maintenance, or cleaning procedures, always makes
sure the hydraulic power pack is in its “OFF” position.
Do not alter or adjust any part of the hydraulic power pack that is assembled and
supplied by the manufacturer.
