  THE STRATEGIES
How to establish a meaningful enterprise–wide solution.
As with any essential growing initiative, Travelers’ extended incentive enterprise solution delivers meaningful outcomes when it adheres to a series of key rules.
Strategy – Quantifiable, Qualifiable, Adjustable.
A clearly defined set of outcomes must be created for the program, supported by an analytics foundation that describes how well Travelers’ is progressing against metrics. Though metrics are an established based on initial benchmarking to target both outcome focused (results)
and behaviors (emotion, engagement); ROI modeling, with leading indicators, will allow for adjustments throughout the Lifecyle of the program, resulting in greater visibility and a higher return.
Incentives – Flexible, meaningful, tiered and
accessible.
The rewards, recognition and incentives that drive performance are organized along a series of tiers as a way to drive performance. Experts describe “The Endowed Progress Effect” as a driver of performance.
By creating small goals in route to a larger goal, people are driven to complete that goal.
All rewards are managed and available from a centralized online solution. This web presence is so much more than a redemption portal. It’s a centralized virtual space for training, resources to grow the business and other benefits that establish and grow an emotional connection.
Marketing communications – advertising
quality, psychology.
Create awareness, inspire action. The marketing communications component of the enterprise-wide solution uses tools such as multiple channels, promotional elements and common branding to drive understanding and usage of Travelers Rewards Value®.
Audience – Ready to expand when
Travelers is.
The initial engagement focuses on Internal Sales, Dealer Principals, Agency Employees and Producers. Because it’s an enterprise-wide solution, Travelers can easily expand to incorporate other channels such as Commercial and Bond and include employees across the Travelers’ Organization. This can include rewards, recognitions, service and safety programs.
