The instruments on the vehicle’s dashboard should be clearly visible at night. If any of the lights failed or one of
the main indicators was not clearly visible, the vehicle should not be driven.
The engine of the windscreen wipers should be able to move the wipers smoothly and the wipers should clean
the driver’s field of vision appropriately.
Access ramps for the disabled on the vehicles should never be disconnected or out of service for more than a
week. Otherwise, the vehicle must be put out of service.

Batteries should be charged enough to start the vehicle without external help.

The vehicle can only drive up to its destination if there are warning signs that reveal that one or several
alternators cannot produce enough electric power.

        1.12 Chassis

Both the anti-roll bar and the suspension bellows are directly linked to the vehicle’s stability.
Overworn bellows or a broken anti-roll bar would put the vehicle’s and the passengers’ safety at risk.

If the suspension valves are failing, the driving comfort and the vehicle’s safety are put at risk, as the centre of
           gravity could shift.

        1.13 Bodywork

A vehicle should not be driven if its bodywork shows dents or missing parts that could cause bodily harm or
damages, either directly or indirectly, such as sharp parts or edges, missing covers of engines or moving parts.
The vehicle should not be driven if the windscreen is damaged in the field of vision or there could be a chance of
it shattering even if the damage is outside the field of vision.
The vehicle should never be driven if any of its side simple windows are cracked.
In the case of double windows where the outside pane is cracked, after cleaning the remains and sealing the
edges, and making sure that the inner window is not cracked, the vehicle may be used for 10 days maximum
until the new window arrives but this must be authorized by the transport manager and the maintenance
           manager -not necessarily in writing.

The driver’s and the passengers’ doors, as well as the emergency exits, should be in good working order and
should be able to be opened with all their buttons.

        1.14 Comfort

The radial looseness of the seat’s fork, measured at the axle, is over 4mm, or one of the adjustments cannot be
set because it is not working properly.

        1.15 General

If the vehicle has failed its MOT test, or it has expired, or does not meet one of the specifications on the
technical sheet (number of seats, number of axles, etc.) it should not be driven.
