Project Brief

Located in the Dead Sea, part of the Jordan Val-
ley region, The house is designed to give an earthy
and warm feeling with its natural stone clad-
ding and landscape design to give its residents
a sense of escape from the busy city lifestyle.
The front façade on the main street does not contain
windows but rather a shy and simple horizontal slit to
preserve privacy and simultaneously break the rigidi-
ty of the façade at the same time. The window open-
ings on the back façade overlook the swimming pool,
framed with the minimally designed landscape to fur-
ther enhance the sense of simplicity.
