“In the beginning, I was inspired to make something that
was related to paint drops, and thought that having
something fun and bubbly would be interesting to do. At
first, I intended it to be a poster regarding a portfolio
review exhibition that had a fun theme around it, but
was pointed out later that the event is a formal and
serious matter and thus cannot be portrayed in a fun
way. In the revision, I changed the event to be more of a
students’ personal paintings exhibition, as an event to
showcase Alam Bina’s students’ talents. The newer
version had bolder headings and reduced amount of
‘bubbles’.”
