“This assignment was given to train us to produce drawings digitally. It’s not just about
digital drawing, it also helps me in digital tracing and rendering. Since we have the
scanned images of our folly project, I just used the tracing method in this exercise to avoid
wasting my time. From this, I gained the knowledge on how to rescale the drawing, learnt
the importance of the layers in autocad, and also about the dimensions setting. Then,
producing title block is also a new thing that I learnt. Line thickness is very crucial for every
drawing, hence, I need to ensure the difference in the line thickness is clear and not
vague. Properties in the panel in autocad is where you can adjust the type of lines and the
lineweight. After that, I used the PLOT techniques in order to convert the drawing in
autocad to the pdf for the next process which is rendering in photoshop. “
