On November 27, 1941 at the age of eighty-six, Johanna F. Cro-
nin passed away. The cause of death was listed as Cerebral Thrombo-
sis, Bronchopneumonia.

In the annals of our family’s history, Nana Hannah will surely be
remembered as a true heroine. She devoted her life to ensuring her
parents, her siblings, her nieces and nephews, her grand-nieces and
grand-nephews, achieved the American dream that her Irish immigrant
parents had pursued. She will forever be idealized for her courage, out-
standing achievements and noble qualities.
