Elizabeth V. “Lizzie” Cronin was just as much apart of the family’s history
as a root is apart of an oak tree. Without the roots, the tree falls. Without
Lizzie, the youngest daughter, the popular student, the revered sibling, the
adorned child; the family of Irish immigrants Jeremiah J. and Julia (Murphy) Cro-
nin would have no moment in time.
