Freedom National Bank was a community owned bank on

125th street that opened January 25, 1965 with the goal

of ending loan discrimination against African Americans
in Harlem. It opened for business with Robinson The grand opening of the Flatbush branch

as the chairman of the board. of Freedom National Bank, 1966.
