               A. Definiton Two Dimensional Figure
Part of a flat plane that is bounded by straight or curved lines. We can find shapes such as

circles, rectangles, and triangles in the remains of prehistoric peoples. At that time, they
used flat shapes to measure land and construct buildings. Flat shapes consist of squares,

rectangles, triangles, trapezoids, rhombuses, parallelograms, kites, and circles. Prehistoric

buildings in the form of flat shapes, for example :
                             Pyramid Tower of Pisa

               B. History of Mathematics
Mathematical figure Euclides The first recorded

geometry of history appeared in Ancient

Greece, he was Thales (624-545 BC) of Miletus.
Thales was the first to put forward several

theories about geometry. One of his most
famous students, Pythagoras (580 - 500 BC), put

forward many new theories in triangles, circles

and other planes. One of the famous
Pythagorean theories is the theory of the length

of the hypotenuse of a triangle. This theory is
                   known as the Pythagorean Theorem.

Thales Pythagoras Who is called the father of geometry? He was Euclides, a Greek
mathematician who lived around 300 BC. Euclides was the first to introduce the basics of

geometry through writings in his work entitled Elements which consists of 13 books. In

the Elements, Euclides describes the dimensions of an object. A point has one dimension.
